Simple femtosecond laser-based production of enlarged nickel surfaces alloyed with molybdenum, iron and cobalt using aqueous solutions and metal foils

چکیده

Abstract An entirely femtosecond laser (fs-laser) based process for the production of stable, enlarged and alloyed nickel surfaces is presented. The allows use metal foils aqueous salt solutions as alloying element sources. We alloy iron from an source well molybdenum cobalt commercially available on mesh without further coating process. It shown that content surface structured with fs-laser depends concentration iron(II) sulfate solution used. controlled by adjustable parameters. Cross-sections prepared a focused ion beam subsequent energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy shows form nanoscale particles surface. combination foil leads to ternary nickel-molybdenum-iron alloy. presented can be applied combinations offers potential create new materials properties.
